Our stay at Black Burn Lodge was absolutely fantastic. The hosts, Jayne and Michael, made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality and helpfulness were second to none. The location by the riverside offered breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and created a serene atmosphere. The design of the property, with its split-level layout and contemporary materials, added a unique touch to our experience. Our room, the Elliot Room, had its own entrance from the garden, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility. The room itself was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the communal conservatory area that looked out to the garden, giving us a peaceful space to relax. The highlight of our stay was the outdoor seating area on stilts above the river, creating a zen-like atmosphere where we could stargaze and listen to the soothing sounds of the water. Jayne and Michael even let us use their telescope to view the moon, which was a special treat. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the garden was delicious and lovingly prepared by the hosts. They also gave us great advice on local attractions and even helped us make dinner reservations. our stay at Black Burn Lodge was unforgettable, and we can't wait to return.
